  1. Review the Agenda
    • No changes
  2. Approval of the Minutes - Board Meeting October 15, 1007
    • On a Motion by Shelley Laskin, seconded by Ron Lalonde, Minutes approved as revised
  3. Treasurer’s Report
    • No Report Presented
  4. AGM Thursday, October 25
    • Board reviewed and commented on draft agenda for 2007 AGM and confirmed invited guests—Councilor Walker, Toronto Police Service and Trustee Matlow; regrets from Carolyn Bennett, MP and Michael Bryant, MPP
    • Margaret will set-up coffee and Shelley will bring other refreshments
    • Jim and Jonathan will come early to set-up and stay to take-down
    • Jonathan will organize flyer to be distributed by Paul’s Reliable
    • Brian will write invitation for posting on the website
    • Shelley will bring copies of 2006 AGM Minutes
    • Brian will ensure Paul provides copies of the Treasurer’s Report
    • Ron sends regrets but will provide copies of FoNTRA information
  5. Fundraising
    • Discussion postponed until November for new Executive
    • Committee Reports
    • Minto – No Meetings (Margaret); it was decided to remove this item as a standing report
    • FoNTRA and CORRA – Ron Lalonde
      • Comment that posting Referendum information on the website was a positive action on behalf of SERRA to help residents understand the issue
      • Meeting next week October 23rd—Jonathan to attend for Ron
  6. Statutory Approvals – Brian Abbey
    • Nothing significant to report except that Brian did write a letter of support to Councilor Adam Vaughan’s concerns regarding the City’s intention to scrap electronic copies of Committee of Adjustment Agendas being distributed.

  8. Adjournment: President Brian called for adjournment at 8:15 pm
    • Next Meeting: Monday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. will be held at the back of the church (if the Friendship Room in not available) at Manor Road Church – Please bring a copy of the Agenda and Minutes to the Meeting and RSVP to Brian or Shelley if unable to attend
